Ganga Action Plan Support Project
(GAPSP) for Kanpur South City is being implemented at Kanpur
under Ganga Action Plan (GAP), Phase II of Government of India
(GOI). This project is the result of the Indo-Dutch
Environmental and Sanitary Project, which was completed
successfully and satisfactorily at Kanpur in 1995. The GAPSP
is within a bilateral programme of the Indian and Dutch
Government. IRAMCONSULT, New Delhi and HASKONING,
Nijmegan, The Netherlands are the consultants for the project.
This project is funded by DGIS, the Govt. of Netherlands and
National River Conservation Directorate (NRCD) is the official
nodal agency. Royal Netherlands Embassy (RNE) on behalf of
Dutch Govt. is the monitoring agency. The total project cost
is Rs. 103 Crores. The project is ongoing and is at the
Detailed Engineering stage.
Under an assignment from
IRAMCONSULT shall prepare
the Engineering drawings of 200 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
based on UASB technology being constructed at Kanpur, India
under the GAPSP, GAP, Phase II, GOI. The scope of work for
IRAMCONSULT includes preparation of the layout plan, Hydraulic
profiles, Civil & Structural Engineering drawings, Electrical
and Mechanical Engineering drawings, and working drawings.
